I’m here to show you how to pot and grow arugula indoors or at the nursery always try to buy healthy plant material. This is pretty healthy. You’ll have some yellowing leaves because you know they’re being grown outdoors. So sometimes they dry out but these are predominantly pretty healthy.
Next you’ll select a pot such as a clay pot that will drain very easily. Put a piece of broken pottery in the bottom for drainage. Take a little organic potting soil which is primarily peat moss leaf mold redwood. Compost a little bit of sponge rock. Take the arugula put it in the center place it firmly. Take the potting soil then put it around the plant pot it firmly around the sides. I like to shake it so now we have our pot in about two to three weeks.
It will start to look like this. It has the great lighting interior. It’s a little bit more of a complicated matter because you do not really have the true sunlight. So what you want to do is pick the sunniest spot. You can possibly choose and try to grow the arugula by the natural sunlight. If you can’t there are all sorts of grow lights you can purchase. There’s a grill light bulbs you can put into the little sockets to give it spectrum daylight and that’s what plants need to have also when you’re placing your plant. Make sure to put a saucer under it so you don’t ruin an expensive coffee table or also another thing. do not keep the water in otherwise it will rot off and then you’ll get a root rot. Another thing you need to know is you will have insects inside the kitchen wherever you’re growing it because it’s a captured audience so make sure to examine your plants.
Also if you do need to spray you could spray products like paraffin wax. It’s safe to use things like that. you just want to be on top of it
